The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
